Day by Day
A detailed day-by-day plan for this 10-day journey.
Your honeymoon begins in the most romantic city on earth. Met on arrival, you glide by private water taxi along the canals to your Venice hotel, an arrival straight from a dream. The evening is yours to lose yourselves hand in hand in the quiet, lamplit lanes.
Discover Venice with a private guide — the mosaics of St Mark's, the grandeur of the Doge's Palace and the hidden corners only locals know. This afternoon, drift through the quiet back canals on a private gondola, and this evening, sit down to a candle-lit dinner at a canal-side restaurant as the water shimmers with reflected light.
A free day to enjoy Venice at your own pace as newlyweds. Sip a spritz in a sunlit campo, browse artisan boutiques, or take an optional private boat across the lagoon to the glassblowers of Murano and the rainbow houses of Burano. The day is yours to write.
Travel south by high-speed train to the rolling hills of Tuscany, where a beautiful wine estate becomes your home for the next three nights. Settle into your room among the vines and toast your marriage with a glass of Chianti as the sun sets over the cypress-lined hills.
A day made for two among the vineyards. Enjoy a private winery tour and tasting, try your hand at a Tuscan cooking class, and this evening, sit down to a romantic dinner overlooking the vines as the light turns to gold. This is la dolce vita at its most idyllic.
A leisurely day exploring the medieval magic of Tuscany. Wander the towers of San Gimignano and the shell-shaped square of Siena, pausing for a romantic lunch and a little shopping, with your private driver ready whenever you are.
Journey to the glamorous Amalfi Coast, where a cliffside room awaits with the whole Tyrrhenian Sea at your feet. Arrive in time to watch the sun melt into the water from your private terrace, a glass of prosecco in hand.
Step aboard a private boat for a day on and around the island of Capri. Glide into the Blue Grotto, drop anchor in secluded swimming spots, and enjoy a long seaside lunch before returning along the cliffs as the coast glows in the afternoon sun.
A final free day on the coast to do exactly as you wish — a couples' spa treatment, a lazy morning on the beach, or simply time together above the shimmering water, making the most of these last golden hours.
After breakfast and one last look at the endless blue, your private transfer carries you to Naples for your onward flight, carrying home the memories of the most romantic journey of your lives.

Know when to go.
- Passport & Visa: Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Most nationalities require a Schengen visa for Italy — please check your own requirements and apply in good time
- Currency: Italy uses the euro (EUR). Cards are accepted almost everywhere, but carry some cash for markets, cafes, tips and small vendors
- Getting Around: Your trip uses Italy's high-speed trains between cities and a private air-conditioned car with driver for day tours and transfers
- Weather & Packing: Pack comfortable, broken-in walking shoes for cobbled streets, layers for changeable weather, sun protection and a light rain jacket
- Church & Site Etiquette: Dress modestly to enter churches, cathedrals and religious sites — shoulders and knees should be covered
- Dining Hours: Italians eat late — lunch from around 1pm and dinner after 8pm. Reservations are advised for popular restaurants
- Stay Connected: Local SIM cards and eSIMs are inexpensive and give excellent coverage across Italy
- Travel Insurance: Comprehensive insurance covering medical care, cancellation, delays and belongings is strongly recommended
- Pace of Travel: There is a good deal of walking at the historic sites; let us know if you would like a gentler pace and we will adjust
- Local Customs: A friendly 'buongiorno' opens doors, and it is polite to ask before photographing people
