Today you journey south to Wadi Rum, the 'Valley of the Moon', and begin your desert adventure. You travel south through the desert to Wadi Rum, where you meet your Bedouin guides and set off into the vast, spectacular desert by 4x4. You weave among towering sandstone mountains, red dunes and dramatic rock formations, getting a first taste of the beauty, silence and vastness of the desert, visiting rock formations, dunes and ancient inscriptions, and scrambling up a dune or rock for a spectacular sunset over the endless landscape. As night falls, you arrive at your Bedouin desert camp, dining on a traditional feast beneath a canopy of brilliant stars, the Milky Way blazing overhead. Today you explore the spectacular landscapes of Wadi Rum in depth, hiking and scrambling. With your Bedouin guides, you journey by 4x4 to remote corners of the desert, hiking through hidden canyons and siqs, discovering springs, ancient Nabatean and Thamudic inscriptions, and dramatic rock formations. You scramble up to a natural rock bridge, such as the famous Burdah rock bridge, standing atop this extraordinary arch high above the desert with breathtaking views, or the more accessible Umm Fruth. You take in the profound silence and magnificent scenery, sharing Bedouin tea in the shade. As the sun sets in a blaze of colour over the desert, you return to a desert camp for a traditional feast beneath the stars. As the day ends, you savour another magical desert night. You explore more remote and beautiful corners of the desert, climb red dunes, and take in spectacular viewpoints. You spend time with your Bedouin hosts, learning about their timeless desert way of life, traditions and survival, and experiencing their genuine, famous warmth and hospitality. As the sun sets over the desert, you enjoy a final traditional zarb feast, cooked in an underground oven, beneath the blazing stars, perhaps with Bedouin music around the fire. Today you savour a final desert dawn, then journey to the Red Sea at Aqaba. You wake to a spectacular sunrise over the mountains and dunes, perhaps with a final short desert exploration or simply savouring the magical morning light and silence. You then journey a short way to Aqaba, Jordan's Red Sea resort, on the warm, clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Aqaba, a refreshing contrast to the desert. On arrival you settle into your hotel and relax by the sea, swimming in the warm water, relaxing on the beach, and perhaps snorkelling over the beautiful coral reefs teeming with colourful fish, an easy and beautiful underwater world. As the sun sets over the gulf and its mountains, you savour the warm sea after the desert. This evening, enjoy a final dinner by the Red Sea, reflecting on your magical desert adventure. Rest well ahead of your departure.

After a final morning by the Red Sea at Aqaba, perhaps a last swim or snorkel over the coral, you are transferred to the airport for your onward departure (via Aqaba's airport, or back to Amman).
